I have learned some interesting things this week and i thought i would share them with the world
1. M&M’s taste REALLY GOOD in yogurt and apple sauce.
2. I do a TON of reading both on my computer and in books.
3. Having to cook for myself every meal has been very fun and has provided a nice outlet for my creativity( #1 is an example of this creativity at work haha)
4. The Library can actually be a good place to get work done and hang out with people. who would have thought!
5. It is amazing how much food you can buy for 60-70 bucks at walmart.
6. Our culture teaches us that correcting others is a bad thing, but the Bible teaches us that wise people enjoy correction and take steps to correct their mistakes. The Bible also says that fools despise correction. Ultimately it boils down to wheather or not we are humble enough to accept that we are not perfect. God has been drilling this into me this week. Everywhere I go I see examples of it.
7. Mat Kearney is my favorite song writer and everyone should go buy his music. His new CD “City of Black and White” just came out this week and it is AMAZING.
8. I bought Brian “Head” Welch’s album “save me from myself” it amazes me how God has totally rocked this guy’s world and now he writes music for God instead of for his previous band Korn.
9. While on the topic of music, Check out Whatismae.com. they are giving all the proceeds from the music they make this year to charity. It is AWESOME music for an AWESOMER cause!
10. Hillsong United’s new album comes out on TUESDAY!!!!
11. I LOVE GOD”S GIFT OF MUSIC!!!! (if you have not noticed yet).
12. I miss running sound every weekend, but i’m also grateful for a break from it too.
13. I’m EXCITED about the work I am hearing God do all over Churches in the U.S. God is Good!!!!!!
Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.
I came across this verse during my quiet time this morning. The verse hit me pretty hard. It caused me to ask myself, Do I seek God with all of my Heart?
I quickly concluded that i do not. I have some repenting to do, but i do so in hope of God making me more into the likeness that He intends for me.
I think we all need to take a carful look at our hearts and ask “am i seeking God with ALL of my heart?”
I thought this was a great answer to this question and felt convicted by how piper related this situation to our relationship with God. I know that to many times i have neglected God’s love for me.

So God has been rocking my socks off. here are some of the reasons why in no particular order:
1. I just finished reading the best book on guy/girl relationships ever. it is titled “going all the way” by craig Groeschel. It is extremely Biblically grounded and it is helpful for those that are single, dating, engaged, or married. Everyone should read it.
2. God has been pointing out a lot of sin in my life and is showing me what i need to change.
3. God is reigniting my fire for Him and is giving me clearer vision for what He wants
4. God is reminding me of how much he has blessed me and how so much of the stuff i buy is unnecessary and doesn’t further His kingdom.
5. God is giving me some great opportunities to serve Him.
6. I’m finding out more and more each day that I need God more and more.
7. God is challenging me in my Faith.
8. I’m finding joy in giving to others. (acts 20:35)
